"How to Slipcover" Video Testimonials

So my first batch of "how to slipcover" videos were mailed about 2 weeks ago, and I have gotten some emails and pictures back from some of you, that I hope you don't mind if I share. I am so happy that you loved it, and that some of you are starting your own businesses.

Got my Slipcovers by Shelley DVD and have watched the entire video a couple times. I just have to say: Girl, you R-O-C-K rock!! I'm an intermediate-level sewer and have a sofa that needs a slipcover. I've been putting it off because it is a big project to tackle for my first slip cover, and I was looking for those tips of the trade that are so hard to find in how-to books. Well you certainly provided all the shortcuts and tips! I was able to easily follow your train of thought and understand the steps as you showed them. You make it look so easy! I can't wait to jump in and start cutting and sewing. I've got some other projects in mind as well and I'm so excited about my new-found knowledge. I'm sure I'll be slip covering everything that isn't nailed down in no time! Thank you so much for making this video and for sharing your knowledge and talent with the rest of us!! It was worth every penny.

I have to tell you, my hopes were pretty high when I ordered your DVD. I've just a marginal hobbiest, but for some reason I was really believing your DVD would answer all my questions. And, guess what??

IT DID!!

I loved your presentation, your thorough instructions and tips; I even appreciated your music selection. Your simple style and straight-forward approach really make me believe I can sew one of these dang things! I felt like you were just my neighbor and you were helping me with a project.

Now, I can't wait to get my Bernina tooned-up, find some fabric and some time and tackle my crazy sectional!

Just wanted to let you know that I have viewed your video 4 times. It is one of the best videos that I have seen to date. Luv it. I've been making slipcovers for about 14 years. Whenever I hear of a video that is out I get it. I 've tried many different techniques and look forward to learning something new. I generally do the the pin the welt in as you go. However, I did learn some things from you that I never considered. Looking forward to implementing them in future projects.

Great Video! Combines several steps, fitting piping technique is the best I have ever seen. Actually, lots of great techniques taught. I don't know how it could be made any easier. Well done!!

Well Shelley.....guess how I am ringing in the new year? With your DVD! You are adorable....and holy cow! FAST! I can't belive how fast you can whip that out. I took a couple semesters of upholstery and we used Juki machines. I had forgotten how awesome they were! Anyhow, loved the DVD. I have a phobia of zippers, I hate using them, but you made putting one in look really easy. I might even attempt it now. I'll be watching how you do it several more times before I try.

Got my superduper secret first off the press dvd. And I am here to tell you, it was wonderful. So fun to watch you and check out the many great tips. I love the way that you sew your slipcovers and the ease in which you sew them and explain. You made me feel like "chilling out" about the whole process! Anyone that wants to learn to slipcover or learn new techniques needs to get this DVD!!!
